January 31st, 2007

The new AT&T, formally Cingular Wireless has launched pay per use Push to Talk service for their clients. Customers get the chance to use PTT as needed for only .15 cents per minute. This allows customers an alternate to the unlimited PTT plan for only $9.99.

“Business and consumer customers across the country have been enjoying the enhanced features of our Push To Talk service for more than a year,” said Carlton Hill, executive director of voice products for the wireless division of AT&T. “This offer gives others the ability to easily enjoy interacting with friends, family or business acquaintances using the service.”

It won’t be long till Rogers here in Canada starts offering the services, as the iDen technology is going to go non-masses in the near future.
