Amp’d Mobile “suspending” operations

July 25th, 2007

Ampd Logo

Well Amp’d in the United States has never been a huge hit. Just last month they filed for Bankrupticy protection however it looks like that didn’t help. Amp’d has posted on their website that they will be “suspending” operations as of July 31st. On their websites is information on what current clients should do as to their billing and customer service issues. All we can say is Amp’d no longer has any customer service reps available to talk your calls. We suggust you port your number ASAP. For more information on this visit here.

Now Amp’d Canada customers you don’t have to worry for now as Telus Mobility is the full operator of Amp’d here in Canada. Amp’d Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amp’d Mobile and has not filed for bankruptcy protection in Canada.

As for Amp’d in Canda, there is the possibility that customers may lose services done through Amp’d in the US, such as some of the downloads.
Please not I said ‘may’ though, as I’m just speculating.

Well Amped mobile is a great concept but they are a stuck up concept what is that they dont have spanich in there handsets when we all know that the hispanic market is one of the best markets ever Spring Branch Communications has no ampd mobile and probably will never acrry this carriere because of the way they do business you have to have a spanich menu on the handset you just got to.
