Does anyone found the terms of that 7$ contract on the Bell site. I really want to get one of there phone but I want to be sure that they wont just lock everything in a couple of months

love the HTC phone got it last week and so far so good!!; love the features; dont like the keyboard but will download the new one “thanks for the link”; im having trouble with hitting buttons while im talking on the phone…wish i could lock the keyboard during a call … guess that will come with practice. i was disappointed about the youtube as well; but problem solved with tha other link “thanks to you too”. i recommend tha phone (tho its my first smart phone/pda) its wonderful!!

Relax people… this CDMA version of the HTC Touch NEVER HAD WiFi HARDWARE TO BEGIN WITH - IT WAS NEVER MANUFACTURED WITH IT

This phone comes with network based high-speed internet for $7, so what do you need Wifi for?

hmmm….I assume the $7 plan is real, but some people on here have me a little worried.
Picked up my HTC Touch and Unlimited $7 Plan yesterday……guess I’ll play it cool till I see my bill and usage.

Huzzah to Bell for disabling a usefull feature!!

Why want it since you have $7 internet? Couple of reasons:

1. Surf from your house: WiFi much faster
2. Travel outside of Canada: Most hotels offer free WiFi. Voice or Data roaming will cost you bundles. Skype anyone?
3. and finally, once you’ve given up on WiFi, once you’ve conceided never to travel with your phone outside of Canada, once you’ve purchased the Touch and signed up for another 3 years, what makes you think Bell won’t change their minds about the $7 and change their rate plans down the road? Why else would they pay extra to have a feature disabled?
