LG Dare-Price Drop

With all of the BlackBerry news I have been posting as of late this should come as a nice change.

Telus must be in the Festive Spirit slashing $99.99 off the cost of the LG Dare.  The offer is only valid for new clients who sign up for the 3 year term and have atleast a $20 bundle on the account for 3 months.  Offer expires December 25, 2008.

BlackBerry Curve 8900 Launches-Rogers

‘Tis the season of the BlackBerry.  Today the BlackBery Curve 8900 was launched on “Canada’s Most Reliable Network”-Rogers Wireless.  The 8900 will replace the 83XX series Curve launched mid 2007.  The 8900 features a 3.2 MP camera, built in GPS, Wi-Fi, bluethooth, and like the 83XX series-a full qwerty keyboard.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 will only set you back $179.99 (on a three year term with $45/month voice and data [$40/month voice and data in smaller markets]), $499.99 (on a two year term), and $549.99 (on a one year or monthly term).

Pearl coming to Fido

The BlackBerrys will be coming Fido in the very near future!

According to HowardForums member “chaser_xsnes9x” both the 8120 8220 will be launched by Quarter 1 of 2009.  The 8120 (Pearl) will be launched first, the second week of December, at a price of $0 on a two year term with data option.  The 8220 (Curve will be launched second, Q1 of 2009, costing you $50 (on a two year term with data).

Fido’s UNO service will be promoted with the new devices along with 3 current devices.  Exact launch dates and color have yet to be confirmed.

BlackBerry 8900 Launches (almost)

According to HowardForums user “Treatz” the BlackBerry 8900 (Javelin) should be reaching Rogers Stores stores shortly.  Shipping of the Curve replacement will be starting December 5th, 2008 and will be available shortly thereafter.  Wifi, GPS, and a 3.2 MP camera to name a few features puts pricing of the device at $179.99 on a 3 year voice and data combination.
