According to Reuters fourth grade student Lim Ding Wen of Singapore is writing his own applications for the iPhone.  His latest application, which got him all the attention, “Doodle Kids” allows users to draw on their iPhone with their finger.  The app has been downloaded 4,000 from the Apple iTunes Store since its launch two weeks ago.  The nine-year old says he “wrote the program from my younger sisters, who like to draw” they are aged 3 and 5.  Lim Ding Wen’s father, who also writes iPhone apps, introduced Lim to the computer at the the age of 2.  Lim has since learned six programing languages and completed 20 programming projects in his spare time.  Lim says he is currently working on a science fiction game-”Invader Wars”.
