No ETF Deadline Extended-Sprint

February 6th, 2009

Boy Genius Report has confirmed that Sprint has extended the deadline to get out of your contract Early Termination Fee (ETF) free.  The original reason was because they increase the Administration fee $0.24 as reported back in January, no word yet on why the deadline has been extended this time.

So if you have had enough with Sprint  you better hurray and “sprint ahead” to the competition because this time the loophole closes March 15, 2009.

It has been suggested to notify Sprint of your cancellation through their online chat, available on their website, be sure to mention the reason for you cancellation otherwise the ETF may not be credited.

HELP!!! Inspired by your notification stating: NO ETF DEADLINE EXTENDED-SPRINT, I had a 2 hour 8 minutes online chat with as many as 3 CS staffers, wanting to cancel my 3-line Sprint contract, which still has 8 more months to go. I was politely informed that I had been misinformed for Sprint did NOT execute the extention deadline, and that I was advised to check the Sprint website, where No such notices will be found! They also inquired where I may have learned about this incorrect notice. Does anyone have any hard facts concerning the above???
