The phone of my lg neon doesn't work anymore. WHenever I call someone, it takes about 2 minutes for the other person to hear me and for me to hear them. But by this time, the other person hangs up so I never get to talk on the phone. What do I do?

I think I could set non-drm music as ringtone but not drm ones b/c when I placed both the drm version and the non-drm version in to my phone, the phone doesn't recognize the drm version. So I could only set the non-drm version as ringtone.

I was wondering, is it possible to set our own ringtone as alarm sound (like sony phones)? When I tried that, it says something like only drm files are available... Any idea?

how do you retrieve ringtones from a text message with this phone?

As far as I know you can't they need to be drm files the only way to get around it is to use mp3's and use the method I mentioned above on Anonymous | February 3rd, 2010 at 11:03 pm
it should allow you to use any mp3 file as a ringtone

For images I take i just goto the menu then media then images then i go down to a picture i want and select options then set as wallpaper. and it works

I think i use to have a problem with this but somehow it rectified itself... the only thing I remeber doing is i went to www.ventones.com and created a slideshow and then used the link they provided to download it with my phone... whether that trick my phone into thinking all my files were drm files i don't know... or whether i was able to do this all along i don't remember.

i cannot get it the mp3 to find my recording... one thing that might work but I have not tried is to make the recording and store it on an external card and then put it in a computer or send it via usb cable , once the file is on the computer use a program to change the file to an mp3. Then put it back on the card and place it back in the phone memory

Now find the mp3 and play it so it will be in your recent files, then do the above steps and hopefully that will work.

If I get a chance to try this I will report back on this matter.

someone | February 13th, 2010 at 4:07 pm
how do i make a sound i recorded a ringtone?

You should be able to do it the same way as I said before, start a valid drm file playing then minimize it and go and find your recording while the drm valid file is playing then goto options and select set as ringtone.

Have not tried this but it should work the same
