Janet , you need to activate the USB port on it in order for it to recharge. Go to the main menu, then settings, then scroll to the right and click the USB Icon , it will then start to recharge with the USB port

You are just too nice. This phone is the worst one I've owned. After viewing many instructional videos, the phone still had mind of it's own. the touch screen was non responsive, would dial up last number called while in my pocket, the stylus always got in the way when calling, when I removed it, because it was such a pain in the ass it eventually got lost. The memory was small, got duped into purchasing an expanded memory card but still recieved constant error and full memory which would freeze the phone. and Verizon Sales Reps at the Plymouth Meeting Mall Pennsylvania are a nightmare. Locked into a contract for two years with a completely useless phone.

I have had the i910 for about 2 months. The recption is the worst I have seen. On a 3G network in the middle of the city my reception at most has been 2 bars. Terrible. My son sitting next to me using his iphone at 3G. Drops calls like crazy, if it receives them. I have been working with the network to get it fixed/replaced. I use it in my business and it is untolerable. Would I buy one again. Nope not on your best day. It is a phone first and computer second. Not the other way around.

Mike:

1) No dropped calls because of the phone.

2) Never experienced a crash.

3) Reception is as good as my old Razr.

4) The phone is no longer GPS crippled. I use it with Google Maps and GPS tracking works great. Not sure about Bluetooth, as I haven't used it.

I ordered this one online with bell and I'm not sure if I made the right choice. It seems like there are a lot of mixed reviews for the i910 by Verizon. Your review seems to be the most unbiased yet...

I am wondering if you could answer my question on this device, as I have 15 days to return this phone when it arrives via the mail:
1. is the drop-call rate very severe?
2. how often does the phone crash?
3. how is the reception with this phone? have you tried bringing the phone to a basement, an underground parking lot, or a mall?
4. is the phone crippled/limited - for GPS and for Bluetooth?

Thanks! & I hope to hear from you.

Just so you know, the stylus is removable and the volume is adjustable if you know what you're doing.
