Monday, March 30, 2009 marked the appointment of Nadir Mohamed as President and CEO of Rogers Communications. Mohadmed previously held the position of President and was the Chief Operating Officer of the mobile and cable division at Rogers since May 2005. Nadir oversaw the acquisition of Microcell and migrated the brand to Fido Solutions. Before beginning his career at Rogers in 2000 he partook in many senior executive assignments at B.C. Telcom, including the launch of the company’s wireless and data networking division.

Not sure how this one slipped past me. President’s Choice Mobile has added the popular QWERTY device to their phone lineup. Aside from the obvious full QWERTY keyboard, the Rumour features a 1.3 MP camera, built in MP3 player, and Bluetooth.
The kit-pictured above-includes the phone, vehicle power adapter, and Bluetooth headset for $129. While the phone by itself will cost you $99.

Starting Monday April 6th Virgin Mobile Canada will begin giving it’s customers $5 a month. All you have to do is is register for Auto-Pay on a Virgin Mobile Prepaid Monthly Plan with your credit card. They’ll do this for up to 30 months.
This could be possibly one of the coolest iPhone 3G cases we have seen yet. “That Girl” over at That Girl’s Site snapped this shot on a recent trip to Japan. As you can see in the photo, the clear hard plastic case is snaps onto the rear of the iPhone-looks good on the white model, not sure what it would look like on the black one.
