Samsung’s Android powered Galaxy
September 18th, 2009
Here’s the Samsung Galaxy. It’s their first Android powered phone. If you’re familiar with Android here’s very quick low down:
It’s a very generic Android implimentation (it’s cupcake) – It’s their first Android device so there’s no Samsung customization. I’m sure the next version will be more customized.
The 2 distinguishing features are it’s AMOLED display – it’s incredible. It also has a 5 megapixel camera on the back.

I think by now all manufacturers have jumped the android bandwagon. I must admit that I haven’t have any experience with Android but sometimes I have this feeling that everything that is produced by google gets a hyped status. At the same time people just cannot get enough of complaining at Windows Mobile 6.5. Well at the internet we probably only read the opinions of a small subset of users after a few year we will see which OS is prefered more.
