First and foremost it&#039;s a touch tongue in cheek, since clearly Facebook&#039;s growth rate can&#039;t continue forever at its current pace. By definition it has to slow down.

However, it wouldn&#039;t be that crazy for there to be more Facebook accounts than humans at some point, due to:

a) fake accounts
b) corporate accounts
c) users having multiple accounts
d) accounts that are live where the owner isn&#039;t
