LG Keybo 2 Coming Soon to Telus?

lg-keybo

Best Buy Mobile advertisements are always a good place to look for upcoming handsets.  The latest publication features a full page of QWERTY devices, one LG device for each carrier.  Rogers has the Xenon, Koodo has the Keybo, Fido has the Neon, and Bell and Virgin both have the Rumour.  All the device mentioned already have been around for awhile, release at various times throughout the past year.  The new device in the lineup belongs to Telus-the LG Keybo 2. The Keybo 2 has a 3.0MP camera with video capabilities,  as opposed to the 2.0MP the Keybo 1 sports, and adds an addition 0.2″ screen area for a total of 2.6″.

No word on pricing or a launch date but the buyers guide is only valid until the end of the month so expect the Keybo 2 to launch before August.

Is the iPhone making its way to TELUS?

HowardForums’ member “RileyFreeman” is reporting that that TELUS will be launching the iPhone in October.  The leak is courtesy of “… a(n) executive at Telus.”  The iPhone would be launched on the HSPA network that is going to be completed around September, not the current CDMA network.

What do you think-is TELUS going to score the iPhone when the HSPA launches later this year?  Leave your thoughts below.

best-buy-proudly-support-earth-day

Bring in your old cellphone to Best Buy next week and get $25 off the purchase of a new phone.  If you are buying a phone priced at $0 you will receive a $25 store credit for accessories.  The $25 accessory credit must be used at the time of purchase and no cash will be given back if the accessory is less than $25.

The trade-in program is only available for new contracts, contract renewals, and upgrades.  Thus prepaid phones are not eligible.   Trade-in incentives are only valid from April 17, 2009 – April 23, 2009 and must be done in-store.

Check out all the trade-in incentives online.

BlackBerry Outage

rim-blackberry-logo-thumb1

Looks like most BlackBerry users in Canada and the United States are currently without e-mail service.  From what I have read it appears all service providers are affected by this outage: Rogers, AT&T, Verizon, etc.

Are you experiencing no e-mail service or delays receiving messages, leave a comment below.
