If it is not a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard being launched its one with a full touch screen interface. Alltel Wireless has launch the Motorola Evoke QA4 at a price of $99.99 on contract featuring, you guess it, a touch screen interface.
The Evoke also has a 2 MP camera and numeric keypad. More at Alltel.

With full QWERTY phones being the in thing these days, Regional Carrier-U.S. Cellular has launched the LG Banter.

The Banter retails for just under $50 ($49.95 to be exact) on a two year contract after mail in rebate. Featuring Bluetooth, a 1.3 MP camera, changeable faceplates, and a full QWERTY keyboard the Banter is a great addition to USCC’s lineup.

Looks like most BlackBerry users in Canada and the United States are currently without e-mail service. From what I have read it appears all service providers are affected by this outage: Rogers, AT&T, Verizon, etc.

One of the ninjas at BGR is reporting that Verizon Wireless is going to launching a swiveling Nokia this summer (July/August). Not sure about features but as you can see-full QWERTY keyboard and S40 OS.

Virgin Mobile USA is all set to launch two new prepaid plans April 15th.

The new Totally Unlimited Calling plan is only $49.99/month (plus tax) and gives you unlimited nationwide voice (no roaming). Unlimited texting and messaging can be added to this plan for $10/month (plus taxes). Virgin Mobile will also be launching an Unlimited Evening (7PM) and Weekends plan for $39.99/month (plus tax).

The unlimited messaging plan is only $19.99/month (plus tax) and gives you unlimited text/picture/video/IM/email.
