Nokia has announced the all new 6120, a 3G packed smartphone. At only 15mm thin the Nokia 6120 offers Symbian series 60 OS, Quadband GSM, Dualband HSDPA (850/2100MHz), 2 megapixel camera and a VGA calling camera.

T-Mobile and Sidekick designer, Danger Inc. have announced a new low end model of the highly popular Sidekick handset. Sidekick iD features the classic Sidekick swivel display design, full QWERTY keyboard however lacks Bluetooth and camera like the Sidekick 3.
“The T-Mobile Sidekick iD is designed for virtually anytime, anywhere communication through voice calling and a robust variety of options for messaging-based communication. The signature swivel screen is designed to be a large, color window into one’s own personal life. The screen moves to reveal the full QWERTY keyboard providing the luxury of staying connected through the always-on access to e-mail, instant messaging (AIM®, Yahoo!® and Windows Live Messenger), and text messaging.”

HowardForums member, TheStone41 has posted press shots of the long awaited BlackBerry 8830 also known as “Cyclone”. The BlackBerry 8830 is said to be a CDMA world device offering GSM for roaming overseas with EDGE. The 8830 should appear on Verizon Wireless hopefully within the next few months. Other than that no other information has become available as of yet. We expect RIM to make a announcement real soon…

Nokia has introduced the 5700 XpressMusic, a twisting mutimedia handset. The Nokia 5700 is powered by Symbian Series 60 software and comes packed featuring a 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, a QVGA display, Quadband GSM with EDGE and WCDMA 2100, stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphones jack.
“The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic adds a new twist to the mobile music experience with compatibility for tracks purchased from many Internet music stores,” says Heikki Norta, Senior Vice President, Mobile Phones, Nokia. “In addition the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic features a dedicated audio chip for improved music performance which consumers can further enhance by selecting from an ever increasing line of compatible audio enhancements.”

LG has announced two new CDMA handsets, both of which are designed for music. The first handset VX-8700 is the latest addition to the “Shine” family. The LG VX-8700 has a 2 megapixel camera and supports stereo Bluetooth and has a microSD memory card slot. The body is metal with a brushed alumminum look to it.
The other handset announced is the LX-570, This model sort of combines the Fusic with the chocolate flip bringing you a touch sensative D-Pad for music controls and comes packed with a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot and a FM transmitter.

Motorola has announced their all new CDMA lineup which could bring some game to the CDMA carriers. The first being the MOTOROKR Z6m, similar to the GSM RIZR Z3. The ROKR Z6m comes packed with a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphones jack, microSD memory card slot and comes wrapped in a sliding body with a QVGA display.The other new handset is the Motorola RAZR MAXX ve. The MAXX ve is the latest in the RAZR series packing a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus, stereo Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot and touch sensative external music controls with two huge displays. You should see the RAZR MAXX soon on Verizon as it shows Verizon branding on the front and back.

Sony Ericsson is getting ready to take aim at the North American HSDPA market by introducing their first 3G handset along with another high-end handset for North America.
Sony Ericsson has announced the Z750, similar to the Z610 clamshell only the Z750 features Quadband GSM, Triband HSDPA along with EDGE, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Memory Stick M2 memory card slot. Also announced is the W580 a slim 14mm thin slider which features Quadband GSM, Walkman software, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Memory Stick M2 memory card slot and a FM Radio.

Sprint has announced the upcoming launch of Upstage by Samsung. Upstage is the CDMA variant of the GSM F300 Ultra Music phone. Upstage comes with a unique MP3 form design. One side of the device is a phone the other a MP3 player. Upstage comes packed with a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, stereo Bluetooth, touch-sensitive media controls and its slim design.
